Frequently asked questions regarding the NQ’s Rock’n Country Music Festival 2023

WHAT TIME DOES THE CAMPING AREA OPEN?
Camp grounds will open on Thursday 17th August at 8:00am and gates close 5pm Friday 18th.
WHAT FACILITIES AND EXTRAS ARE PROVIDED?
Campers have access to the showground’s toilets and showers, 1 x power outlet per site, easy access to festival grounds, a conveniently located campers bar and live ‘campers only after party’.
WHAT IS THE LIMIT OF VEHICLES PER SITE?
There is a limit of one vehicle and/or caravan per site. Both can go on a site only if they fit within the designated area. Vehicles can go in the main carpark after setup.
ARE MOTOR HOMES ALLOWED IN CAMPGROUNDS?
Yes, if they are no bigger than 10m x 5m.
WHAT IS THE LIMIT OF PEOPLE PER SITE?
6 people per camp site. 4 for Glamping
HOW ARE SITES ALLOCATED?
Sites will be allocated by volunteers as you enter the camping area. If you are wanting to camp next to friends, we recommend that you enter the campgrounds together and ensure that you have booked the same size camp site.
WILL SECURITY BE PROVIDED?
Yes, security will be provided to ensure the safety of campers. Security will also be on the gate should you wish to venture uptown at night after the event.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON SITE?
No BYO drinks are permitted on site. However, it is a licensed venue, and you will have your own conveniently located campers bar.
HOW CAN I CHANGE THE SIZE OF MY CAMPSITE IF I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED?

CAN I RESERVE A WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY CAMPSITE?
Yes, please email the organiser directly – geoff@yeehaaevents.com.au – to have a site reserved that is near the event entry and accessible toilets.
IS THERE AN OPTION TO CAMP FOR ONLY ONE NIGHT?
If you intend to not stay for the 4 nights please let the volunteers on the gate aware so you are placed close to the exit to minimise disruption for the other campers. Please note that camping prices are for 4 nights only, there is so reduced fee if you aren’t staying for the full duration.
WHAT TIME DO CAMPERS HAVE TO LEAVE BY?
Campers must be off site by 3pm Monday.
IS THERE A DUMP POINT AVAILABLE AT THE SHOWGROUNDS?
There are no dump points at the grounds.

HOW DO COMPANION CARD HOLDERS RECEIVE ENTRY?
Companion Cards must be shown at the gate for carers to receive their wristband entry. If you are planning on attending as a companion, please email geoff@yeehaaevents.com.au
IS THERE AN AGE FOR KIDS THAT ARE FREE?
Children under 5 are free.
WHAT AGE IS CONSIDERED AS A CHILD WHEN PURCHASING TICKETS?
Under the age of 18.
WHAT IS CONSIDERED AS A FAMILY TICKET?
A family ticket includes 2 adults and 2 teen/pre-teen (Children between the ages of 5 to 18).

ARE PETS ALLOWED IN SITE?
No, sadly our four-legged friends are not permitted to come in site.
WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT START AND FINISH?
Gates open at 7.45am daily.
IS THERE A DEDICATED ENTRANCE FOR THE DISABLED?
Attendees who require disabled access can be dropped off at the Milton Street entry for best access.
CAN I LEAVE THE EVENT AND COME BACK IN DURING THE DAY?
Yes, but you must keep your wristband on and your bags will be checked upon re-entry. This is the same for camping entry after hours.
CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIR?
We encourage attendees to bring their own chairs. There will be an area in the middle of the festival allocated for them to be set up. There will also be outdoor settings with umbrellas at the back of the festival area and in the food area.
ARE ESKYS ALLOWED?
No eskys are allowed, as it’s a licensed venue.

COVID-19 INFORMATION
Due to the current ongoing changing restrictions impacted by COVID-19, Yeehaa Events as the promotor will monitor these changes administered by the Queensland Government in the lead up to the event and will adhere to these requirements. The event will include appropriate public health controls including adequate hygiene measure, hand sanitising stations, QR code check-in and physical distancing. Other requirements may include but not limited to are proof of vaccination, mask wearing and other measures.
The promotor will keep ticket holders up to date with this information closer to the event.
