What sets NQ’s Rock’n Country apart from all the other country music festivals you may ask?
Well not only is it the biggest country music festival in Mackay, hosting some of the largest Australian Artists both legends and up and comers. Nor is it one of the only festivals who continued to persevere through a worldwide pandemic and deliver a world class experience in 2021. But NQ’s Rock’n Country is all about doing it for the kids! The festival aims to be one of the biggest funds raiser in Queensland with a goal of $100,000 to be raised.
Funds are raised through multiple opportunities including ticket sales and on-site raffles and auctions. 2021 saw the festival raffle off multiple items that were signed by the headlining artists. This included the Green Room in which all the artists got ready and signed the wall, as well as multiple guitars, hats, and other merchandise.
This year the festival are raffling off a major prize! There is a brand new 2022 1500 Ram Quad Cab valued at $88,500 up for grabs. Tickets are already on sale and are priced at $100. The catch is that there are only 2000 tickets available, so it is first in, best dressed!
